Description
I’m a firm believer that nearly any vegetable will taste great if you add a good mix of seasonings and roast them til they’re nice and crispy. This crispy baked shredded brussel sprouts recipe is no exception. Serve them with your favorite main dish and starchy side and you’re set for a delicious meal!
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 – 12 oz package of halved brussels sprouts (can also use regular and chop them yourself)
- 2 tsp Avocado oil
- Salt, Pepper, garlic powder, and paprika to taste (1/4 tsp each)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400.
- If brussels sprouts are whole, shred or chop them. Can use a cheese grater with shredder attachment.
- Toss brussels sprouts with avocado oil and seasonings and add baking sheet lined with parchment paper or a silicon baking mat.
- Roast for 30 minutes or until edges are crispy, tossing halfway through. (Less time needed if shredded than if whole. Keep an eye on it and remove once it us browned to your liking. I like mine nearly burned.
Notes
Washing and shredding your own brussel sprouts saves money and ensures freshness; however, I LOVE the pre-washed and pre-shredded version from Trader Joes for a quick weeknight side dish.
