Description
This super simple garlic alfredo recipe is 1,000 times more delicious than store bought and is so easy that once you try it you’ll never even be tempted to go back to the jar. With only a few simple ingredients, you won’t believe how easy it is to knock the socks off of your family and friends with this dish.
Ingredients
- 3 T Butter
- 1.5 cups heavy cream
- 5 oz (approximately 1.5 cups) shredded parmesan cheese
- 2–3 tsp minced garlic (or 1 tsp garlic powder)
- Salt and Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Add butter to a pan over medium heat and cook until melted.
- Meanwhile, mince garlic.
- Add garlic to the pan and saute until fragrant, 2-3 minutes.
- Add heavy cream to the pan then slowly add parmesan, stirring frequently.
- Allow to cook until combined and the cheese is completely melted.
Notes
If the sauce is thicker than preferred, add extra cream or milk to thin it to your desired consistency.
Fresh garlic is best in this dish; however, garlic powder works great in a pinch.
Serve over your favorite pasta or use as the base for a white pizza.
